The Australia Day celebrations are held at the Nundle Primary School where there is lots of
shade and seating.

The Australia Day ceremony at Nundle Public School us event is friendly and especially welcoming to visitors to Nundle.

Delicious Australia Day BBQ breakfast cooked by Nundle and District Lions Club from 8.30am.

Australia Day celebrations continue with a ticketed concert from 12 noon until 4pm at The DAG Sheep Station.

Australia Day celebrations at Nundle are friendly, welcoming, community-based events where visitors rub shoulders with locals and enjoy the small town country atmosphere. Everyone should experience the poignancy of Australia Day in Country NSW at least once in their lifetime. 

Nundle's Australia Day festivities are a great way to end the Tamworth Country Music Festival and many visitors call into Nundle on their way home.

Australia Day, Tuesday January 26 at Nundle starts at 8.30am at Nundle Public School with breakfast cooked by Nundle and District Lions Club followed by a ceremony featuring the Australia Day Ambassador, country musician Darren Coggan, and Australia Day Awards including Citizen of the Year, Community Organisation/Event, Junior Sport and Community Appreciation.

The old fashioned hand shearing demonstration is always a hit as part of the Nundle Australia Day Program, as well as the Trivia Competition, Bush Band and Children's Activities (Treasure Hunt, Play Doh Modelling, and Best Australia Themed Hat).

Later in the day the sense of occasion continues with an Australia Day concert at The DAG Sheep Station from 12 noon-4pm, tickets $30 includes BBQ buffet.
